4 monthsGot a call from someone with a really thick Asian accent, hard to get what they were saying. They were asking stuff about my SIM card, but my English isn’t brilliant either so it was a mess. I told them I wasn’t interested and just ended the call. Since then, I’ve noticed loads of missed calls from different numbers.2 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were from O2 but sounded like an Indian call centre - blocked the number straight away.2 yearsPicked up the phone and some bloke claimed to be from O2. Just hung up straight away.2 yearsI got a call from a lady with an Asian accent, called herself Julie. Honestly, she was really hard to get, mumbling something about working with curry or Currys, can’t quite recall. When I mentioned spicy food doesn’t sit well with me, she suddenly got quite nasty and started swearing! Later on, my son reckoned it was a dodgy scam call aiming to grab my personal info. Seriously, what's going on these days?Julie2 yearsSo frustrating, they kept trying to get me to buy stuff and honestly, I couldn’t make out what the bloke was saying half the time.2 yearsThey went straight to voicemail and didn’t say anything, so I figured it was a scam and just blocked the number.2 yearsAnswered the phone, and the only thing I got was a robot voice saying “bye”.2 yearsThis lady, who sounded Asian, kept calling me saying she worked for Currys and was offering a deal on mobile phones with a contract, like up to 40% off or something. She was soooo pushy, I couldn’t even say anything properly before she just kept going on and on, so I just ended the call. Could easily be a scam, but I didn’t stick around long enough to be sure.CurrysSubmit Your Own Report (020 4586 1429)
