This bloke called pretending he needed my email to send some sort of confirmation code, probably trying to hijack my account or something. Then he went on about switching my phone company and promised a huge "loyalty" deal. Sounds dodgy to me!

Got a ring on my mobile from someone calling an 86 year old, claiming they’d be sending out a new Virgin O2 SIM even though they're not even a customer there. Somehow, they managed to talk them into giving up their iCloud password on the spot. What a dodgy move.

Had the same thing happen again, number’s getting blocked for sure. This time they tried saying they were from Virgin Media. I just cut the call straight away.
