Got a call from someone claiming it was about a wordsearch contest on TV that I supposedly entered. They even knew my name and where I live. Said I was one of the last few people left in the prize draw, and because I got the answers right, I'd won a wordsearch book and some lottery scratch cards. But then they asked for like £2 something for postage and wanted my bank details. The whole time there was loads of noise in the background and it didn’t sound like a proper company at all.

I gotta agree with what everyone else is saying here. If these annoying callers actually panicked, they wouldn't know how to handle it.
