Got a call today from a London number that looked a lot like a few dodgy ones I’ve been getting lately. Didn’t answer and let it go to voicemail, but no one left anything, so I’m guessing it’s either a scammer or just someone I’d rather not talk to.

Got a call saying I was owed over £6,000 in PPI. When I questioned the caller, they went silent for a bit like they were figuring out what to say next, but stayed on the line and repeated the same spiel. Tried to tell me it was a legitimate claim, but I shut them down by asking if they were trying to scam me or just waste my time. After a pause and some heavy breathing, they hung up. They sounded pretty cheeky and rude, but since I was at home, I had time to tell them to think about the nonsense they were spouting.
