I picked up, said hello... nothing but silence... waited a couple seconds then ended the call... looked up the number here... blocked it straight away.

So, this number just rang me up claiming to be from EE, offering a 30% discount if I pay promptly. They wanted my email to send the discount details, but I told them they must already have it. After that, they just ended the call. Quite odd!

I got two calls from this number and each time it just cut off as soon as I picked up. Definitely feels like a scam, pretty poor attempt though. Checked the number here after and I've blocked it now.
