Got a call from a woman who said her name was Lisa, but she spoke with a strong Indian accent. She claimed she was ringing from UK Today and wanted to do a quick survey. It was obvious to me this was just a scam, probably trying to fish for personal details.

A lady with an Indian accent called, saying her name was 'Jane'. When I asked which company she was working for, she kept dodging the question and just kept going on about some survey. I pressed her again, asking who exactly she was calling on behalf of, and told her she shouldn't bother me unless she came clean about the company. She got a bit loud after that, so I ended the call and blocked the number. Seems like one of those scams where they pretend it's a survey to try and grab your personal info.

I picked up the phone and right away some robotic voice came on saying if I liked their service I should press 1, or 2 if I didn’t. They never told me the name of the company though. Then the call just cut off straight away.
