The chap on the line informed me that I had actually won, along with a rather peculiar offer of ten spins on the lottery. He asked for my details to process the winnings, but I declined and insisted he simply send me the perfume. I mentioned I don't support gambling, which isn’t entirely true, but I wanted to wrap up the call. He continued to argue, claiming entering the competition was a form of gambling. I explained that since it didn’t cost me anything to enter, it didn’t count. Eventually, he conceded and the call ended.4 yearsBeware!!! I received a rather unsettling call from a chap who seemed to have my name and address on hand. He claimed that I’d been chosen as a winner of a £1000 prize in some BBC competition set for tomorrow. Then, out of the blue, he insisted that they needed my bank account details, just in case I hit the jackpot. I wasn't about to hand over any of my banking information, so I turned him down, and he promptly disconnected.BBC4 yearsAbsolutely Terrifying!
