Got called by some dodgy prize draw scam. Total con, don’t fall for it!

Got a call saying I’d won some kind of prize and that they’d be sending me vouchers via email soon. Then they asked me to give six numbers for what they called ten free chances in a lottery. After that, they started asking for my bank details like sort code and account number to supposedly pay my winnings. I told them to just send a cheque since they already had my address. The caller kept trying to get me to hand over my bank info, saying if I knew how cheques worked I’d understand the sort code and account number are on them. I told him the cheque would have their details, not mine, if it was a payout to me. He laughed and hung up shortly after.

I saw an Aldi advert about testing an electric bike and decided to sign up by giving my info. It took me all the way through, then suddenly asked me to pay £1.50 to £2.50 per text. Since then, I keep getting around 5 texts EVERY SINGLE week. I also got a call about the competition - apparently I’d won out of 150,000 people, which sounded a bit dodgy. The person on the phone said I had 10 lottery tickets and asked for my bank details to send the prize money. I told them I’d only give bank info if I actually won, and then they just hung up on me. I've tried calling back twice, but no luck. Totally feels like a scam to me.

This bloke rang up saying I’d somehow signed up for some contest to win a voucher. I hadn’t entered anything like that, so I just told him no cheers and ended the call quick. Definitely sounded fishy to me.

Got a call saying I’d won some kind of lottery, apparently only 150 people were picked, and that I could get an iPhone. They asked for my bank details and sort code though. Feels like a total scam to me.
