I reckon I’ve just had a right dodgy phone call! Some bloke was on the other end saying I’d won a massive prize from Mac Cosmetics, all because of a lottery ticket he claimed I had. Can you believe it? He then proceeded to ask for my personal information and banking details to supposedly transfer the winnings. The kicker? I’ve never even entered a lottery in my entire existence!

i got a call from this number, didn’t answer cause i had no idea who it was and i don’t know anyone in Birmingham either. did a quick search and saw loads of people saying it’s probably a scam, so i just went ahead and blocked it since it seemed dodgy.

Someone called me saying I’d won some sort of prize, asked me for personal info. At first I thought it might be from Mac Cosmetics about a lottery or something, but wasn’t certain. In the end, I turned them down. It seemed fishy to me, like they were just trying to scam me and make me jump through loads of hoops for nothing. Definitely didn’t trust it.

I received a rather peculiar call from a lady with an Asian accent who claimed I had won some Haribo sweets. To be honest, I was a bit sceptical because I've entered so many competitions lately, so I decided to end the call. If it turns out to be legitimate, they can always drop me an email instead!

What an incredibly impolite cold caller! I attempted to confirm the details of the person on the other end, but instead, I was met with the response: "I've already told you once, why are you bothering me to repeat myself?" And just like that, they hung up on me! Absolutely shocking behaviour!
