Today, I received a rather dodgy call from this number. They played a pre-recorded message claiming that there was some suspicious activity on my bank account. Apparently, there was an Amazon purchase for £700 and a £2000 transfer made from my account. I was almost completely convinced this was a scam, so I stopped the message before it went any further, but I reckon it would have prompted me to press a button to speak with some so-called representative. After doing some digging, I'm now certain that this was an attempt to swindle me.
