I received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be with a trading firm, going by the name Raechel. She alleged that I had 0.1 Bitcoin sitting in my account and requested my personal details to supposedly help me access those funds. Clearly, it's a scam!

Someone rang me from Hong Kong and actually knew my name! How on earth did they find that out? I’m really not trusting this at all!

Total scam alert. He kept going on about blockchain stuff that made no sense. Be careful and definitely let the police know about it.

This bloke kept ringing, claiming I had €11,500 in some Blockchain account ready to be sent to me. I told him straight I don’t have any such account or investments and said I’d be reporting his number to the coppers. Didn’t take long for him to ring back at least five times, asking why I was involving the police. Proper annoying!

This person keeps ringing me up every single day, trying to get me to let them into my computer through AnyDesk. I keep saying no, and even told them I’d reported it to the police. What’s more annoying is they’ve had the cheek to call me while I was already on the phone with HSBC.

The bloke said he was from HSBC and wanted me to set up Anydesk so he could get into my computer. Problem was, he didn’t know any of my account info. Next day, he had the cheek to ring again. I just told him the police were already involved.

They wouldn’t tell me which company they were with or what the money was about. They kept asking for my details but never gave me any info themselves first. Felt really dodgy, like they were trying to scam me for my information.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Blockchain[###], saying I've got $7000 waiting in an account under my name. They offered to help me retrieve it. Yeah, right! Total scam, don’t fall for it.

Some guy rang me up saying he was from a blockchain firm and claimed I supposedly have a big sum of money in an account that needs transferring. I told him I never dealt with any cryptocurrency, so there’s no way I’d suddenly have unknown funds. He then offered me a choice: either I hand over my details so they can send me the money, or they’d report it to the tax authorities who would investigate me. I said I’d take the second option, telling him I’m not scared of some probe for money I didn’t even know existed or where it came from. Got pretty annoyed and ended the call, but he went and phoned me straight back again!
