Received a call from someone pretending to be from Payday, called himself Aron Davis. He seemed to know quite a bit about me and claimed he could help get back money lost in a scam. Just a heads up, stay clear of this number and never share your personal details with them!

Totally a scam, watch out!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Openreach support, saying my router was under a firewall attack. They then talked me through letting them into my laptop and phone using AnyDesk. They tried to nick £1950 from my bank while distracting me with loads of pointless broadband speed tests. Thankfully, 2FA stopped them in their tracks. They were very slick, even passed me to an "engineer" on the line and told me to put my phone face down behind the router so I wouldn’t notice the 2FA alerts - which was obviously dodgy.
