My daughter, who’s only 16, keeps getting calls from this number. We’ve tried blocking it loads of times but somehow, it’s like they find a way round it and keep ringing her back. It’s really annoying!

Received a call from 02045771215 just minutes ago. I didn't recognise the number but knew it was not local, so I ignored it. I always do this... then Google it. And here it is: a scam. I don't have a home computer, an Internet connection (other than mobile data) or a Microsoft Account... nor do I live on the GB mainland. If they ring back, I might just answer and waste their time for as long as possible. I'm a bit bored today! 👍

Got a call from a woman claiming to be with BT, saying my internet had been throwing out error alerts for days and they wanted to sort it. When I asked her what kind of errors they were, she just asked if I even had internet at all! I pressed her again about the supposed messages and she just hung up on me.

I got a call from some guy named Tim claiming to be from Microsoft. Gotta say, it seems like Microsoft picks their staff from a pool of people with strong Indian accents but with names that sound totally western! And can someone explain why every single one of them speak like they’ve had the same dodgy English tutor? Like, they end every sentence with ‘okay’! Pretty sure it’s a phishing attempt. Best to steer well clear.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who started with "Good day to you, good day, how are you?" When I asked what the call was about, she said she was Nancy and mentioned something about my internet. I just ended the call pretty quick. Definitely a scammer.

There’s no such number here, so it can’t possibly be "TPS compliant", simple as that. Real London numbers with 020 start with 7 or 8; the 020 3 prefix isn’t really London but a non-geographic code some big UK firms use for call centres. Problem is, it’s often faked through VoIP to trick people into scams or stealing personal info. Honestly, steer well clear of this one - it’s dodgy as hell and best treated like a total hazard.

Got a call from this number around 10:55 this morning (5/8). They didn’t leave any voicemail. The caller tried to hide their real number and then said I’d dialled the wrong number. Sounds like another scam to me. I’m signed up with the TPS, so I shouldn’t be getting these cold calls at all.

Right after I hung up on a bothersome call, this one rings up straightaway. The bloke, who spoke with an Asian accent, was all about my computer. I told him I ain't got one and told him to 'go check your list.' Still, he kept pushing, so I just put the phone down and let him ramble on by himself.

Just got a call around 10:35am from a woman with an Asian accent, said her name was ‘Christine’ and it was about my computer. I asked what the issue was and she wanted to know if I was the primary user. When I asked if it was a scam, she actually admitted it was! I thanked her and told her I’d report it before she hung up. Gotta admit, at least she was upfront about it!

Got a frustrating call from some bloke claiming to be "James" but had a really strong accent, probably from Asia. He was going on about an issue with my internet connection. I made it clear I didn’t want to chat, but he kept insisting, going "listen to me, listen to me" over and over. I just told him I wasn’t interested and asked him to leave me alone!

Got a call from someone saying my Microsoft account was about to get frozen 'cause of some 'major issue' on my PC. They kept pushing me to sort it out quick. They even said if I wasn't sure, I could pop down to their office in Reading for a check-up or something. Bit dodgy if you ask me!

Got a call from someone claiming Microsoft had been contacting me about issues with my PC. I kept him chatting a while, then mentioned I actually use an Apple, not Microsoft, but he didn’t back down. I straight up called him a scammer, yet he kept going. Then he began swearing and told me to hang up. I politely reminded him he was the one who rang, and he couldn’t tell me who I could or couldn't talk to. After a bit, he finally hung up.
