Received a call from 02045771215 just minutes ago. I didn't recognise the number but knew it was not local, so I ignored it. I always do this... then Google it. And here it is: a scam.
I don't have a home computer, an Internet connection (other than mobile data) or a Microsoft Account... nor do I live on the GB mainland. If they ring back, I might just answer and waste their time for as long as possible. I'm a bit bored today! 👍

Yet another pestering telephone scam! An Asian chap claimed his name was "James" and insisted there was an issue with my internet connection. I kindly informed him that I wasn’t interested in conversing with him. He persisted with, "you need to listen to me, you need to listen to me." Eventually, I had enough and firmly told him to take a hike!

They attempted to persuade me that my computer was facing some dire issues and insisted that if I didn’t take immediate action, my Microsoft account would get locked. They even had the audacity to suggest I pay a visit to their office in Reading for assurances! Absolute nonsense!

They're deceivers, and I won't hesitate to let them know.

I didn't recognise the caller's number, so I allowed it to hit voicemail. Interestingly, they hung up before the message could finish recording.

I received a call from an Asian lady purporting to work for Microsoft. When she asked if I could dictate the text on my screen to her, I decided to spell out a rather colourful expletive in an exaggerated voice. She quickly ended the conversation. That makes it the second such call I've had in less than an hour!

I received a phone call from someone purporting to offer special deals on O2 contracts. When I mentioned that I wasn’t tied into any contract, they abruptly ended the call. Quite curious behaviour!

Watch out for these tricksters; it's not worth your time engaging with such pathetic individuals. Stay vigilant, I've given you fair notice!

I received a phone call from an individual with a distinctly Asian accent who addressed me by name, claiming to be from Microsoft regarding some issues with my computer. I've encountered similar calls in the past, and I've been informed by Microsoft that they never make calls like these. I decided to hang up on them after making that clear.

Received a voicemail from an Asian woman inquiring about my father, who's been gone for the past decade. Quite an unusual and unexpected call!

Received yet another call purportedly from Microsoft. After I chose to end the conversation, the fellow rang back and took a rather unpleasant tone with me. Clearly, he didn't quite grasp the concept of “farewell” as he just kept prattling on!

I picked up the call, and there was nothing but silence for a couple of seconds before they abruptly disconnected. How strange!

I picked up the call, but there was utter silence after about 10 seconds, then they just disconnected. How odd!

Received a dodgy call from 020 4577 1215, purportedly from London. An Asian gentleman on the other end started babbling on about some O2 bills. I sussed it out as a con right away! I told him I wasn’t with O2 and flagged it as a scam. He promptly hung up.
