It was clear she hadn't the faintest idea what I was on about, especially when I cheekily suggested that must be where she was sourcing the nonsense she was peddling! She then backtracked and revealed she was actually in Kolkata, not Birmingham at all. Promised to shoot me an email with further details and mentioned she would ring me back tomorrow. I told her I’d be in London dealing with some police matters regarding Indian call centre scams, and just like that, the line went dead.
