Just got a call a short while ago but no one said anything, they probably just ended the call.

Some guy with an Indian accent called me saying I’d won a huge amount on the EuroMillions, something about a Pampers competition I’d entered. But the line kept cracking up and cutting out. Seemed dodgy to me.

It was quite evident that this call originated from a call centre. There was an unmistakable din of chatter and whispers in the background. The chap on the other end merely uttered a “hello” and promptly disconnected once I responded. Quite peculiar, really!
