4 yearsI received a rather dubious phone call today. The individual on the line purporting to represent Netflix's security division claimed they were unable to verify my credit card details, suggesting that my account would be temporarily suspended as a result. They insisted that my account would be restored once I confirmed or updated my payment information, and even sent me a text containing a link to supposedly verify these details. It's a truly alarming scam! Please, exercise caution!Netflix4 yearsi keep getting calls and emails from people saying they're with netflix's security team. they tell me there's an issue with my credit card and say they'll freeze my account unless i click this link and confirm my details. they also give a phone number, email or even an address to contact, sounds really legit with perfect english, but it's a scam. no genuine bank or company would ever ask you to share card info over the phone like that. so watch out folks!Netflix4 yearsI'm pretty sure this number is used by a scammer.4 yearsGot a call from a woman with an Asian accent asking for me. I told her I'd go look for him and then she just ended the call. Total spam, I reckon.4 yearsYet another call from a number that’s just a smidge different to the last, and it's getting on my nerves as they seem to ring every single day! They assert they’re part of the National Debt Helpline, insisting I reached out for assistance to sort my debts. Honestly, I've never done any such thing-no mortgage, no loans to speak of, and a tidy inheritance sitting quite nicely in the bank! It’s driving me to the point of nearly yelling at them to just leave me in peace. I’ve had my fill of this nonsense. Thank heavens I share a bank account with my husband, else he might think I’m hiding something from him!National Debt Helpline5 yearsI chose not to pick up as I didn’t recognise any names from London.LondonSubmit Your Own Report (020 4575 0307)
