I picked up the phone, and the chap on the other end mentioned my name. Naturally, I inquired who was calling, but he just cut the line! Honestly, I'm thoroughly exasperated with these incessant calls. It feels like every time I manage to block one number, another pops up from a different line!

I received a call from someone insisting that I was due over £3,000 for a PPI claim and that they required my bank details to process the payment. I pointed out that if this were legitimate and I had a claim, they would factually possess my personal information from a form I'd have previously filled out. Naturally, I refused to divulge any financial information, and amusingly, they ended the call quite abruptly. It's clearly a scam attempt!
