Got a call from someone pretending to be from O2 again. This time they said I need to buy a new SIM or else the current one will just stop working soon because of some system upgrade. Don’t fall for it, it’s a total scam.

Got a call on my partner's phone and she passed it to me. The bloke said I could get 40% off our O2 contract bill, but we don’t even use O2! Figured I’d humour him a bit to see what he was on about for anyone else reading this. He started asking for our email, phone numbers and all that usual nonsense, but honestly, I could hardly make out what he was saying. Thought I’d share this in case it’s any use to others.

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2 and could knock off 40% from my already tiny contract bill. They reckoned the fee was too small, so clearly they hadn’t a clue about my current deal. The voice sounded foreign and was really hard to make out.

Got a call claiming to be from O2 saying they had a deal just for me. I asked them to send the details over email so I could check it out when I got chance, but they suddenly said they couldn’t have my email address. Bit fishy if you ask me.
