Beware of this SCAMMER. A guy with an Asian accent rang me claiming to be from EE and said I could get 40% off my bill! He asked me to confirm my email address, which I didn’t do. Then he sent me a text with a six digit code, saying it was to prove I owned the account. That’s when it hit me he was making it up and trying to get into my EE account. I told him exactly what I thought of him and ended the call. I then rang EE on their official 0330 number, and they told me it was a total scam with no connection to EE.

Got a call from someone saying they were from EE and had a 40% discount for me. They asked for my email, but I said they already had it. Then they said it was just to check it was me. I ended the call, but they phoned back asking again for my email. I told them I doubt it’s really EE and just put the phone down.
