This phone number seems to be part of a string used by scammers, ranging from 02045688815 through to 02045688835, maybe even beyond those. They’re calling up pretending to be all sorts - energy consultants, people selling insulation, driveway fitters, health professionals, you name it. They claim to be doing ‘market research’ so they can ring you out of the blue. Honestly, these lot are quite the nasty fraudsters. Best thing is to just block the numbers. Don’t expect Ofcom to step in though, so we all need to warn each other about them.

Looks like these scammers have a whole bunch of numbers lined up from 02045688815 through to 02045688835, maybe even beyond that range. They pretend to be all sorts - energy consultants, insulation installers, driveway sales reps, even doctors - and they use that fake ‘market research’ excuse to cold call you. They’re proper nasty scammers. Best thing to do is block them straight away. Don’t bother expecting Ofcom to sort it, we need to warn each other instead.
