This is the third occasion I've got a call from these lot, saying I might qualify for a medical alert pendant, but they've used different numbers each time (like 02045688788 and 02045688823 before). I'm definitely not eligible, yet they keep ringing me. Feels like a scam for sure, especially since the bloke's voice had this weird echo throughout the whole call this time.

They try makin the number show up on caller ID now instead of the usual 'withheld' thing, just to trick you into pickin up. I didn’t bother, since it wasn’t a number saved on my phone. These con artists keep finding loopholes in the rubbish laws we have. Honestly, some of them ought to be locked up for a good while, sorted proper at Her Majesty’s pleasure.
