Got a call about loft insulation, they were going on about how it supposedly causes condensation. Seems like loads of folks around here have switched to some kind of spray-on stuff now. Told them I wasn’t bothered and just ended the call.

over the past few days ive been getting repeated calls from this number and a few others that are very similar, like they only change the last couple of digits - like -04, -14, -15 and -16. there's even a few more where just the final 3 digits switch up, but maybe thats not connected. everytime i let it ring to voicemail, all i can hear is weird crackling noises.

Some bloke rang claiming to be the energy advisor for my area. I kept cutting in, asking what postcode he was talking about, but he ignored me and just went on with his pitch. I asked him the postcode question about four times and then he just froze, said “right, no worries” and hung up. Definitely a scam.

Some bloke called me sayin my house is in a "red zone" and that my loft insulation is old and needs checking. I told the lad, who sounded really young, that my loft's already boarded out, and he just said all that would have to be ripped up. Honestly, these annoying cold callers are a nightmare, best just to hang up straight away. If they’re scaring older folks like this, it’s just rotten, they need to be stopped for good.
