I received a rather unpleasant phone call from a rather haughty woman who insisted I had signed up for some sort of global support service, whatever that entails. I assured her that I had not, to which she simply scoffed and retorted, “Oh, if you say so,” before promptly disconnecting the line. It was clear she didn’t have a British accent, and the cacophony of noise in the background suggested it was a call centre operation, likely targeting those who could be easily deceived. Quite disconcerting, really.

I've got an app that pinpoints where incoming calls are coming from. This one registered as +91, indicating it’s from India, which makes me think it's likely a scam. The caller's English was quite poor, and you could really hear a lot of commotion in the background. It seemed like they were probably working from a call centre.

This number, along with a few others like ones ending in 4956, 4960, and 4962, keeps ringing me several times each day. They always say they're from some financial services firm. I can't seem to stop the calls since they just switch to different numbers all the time.

I kept getting calls from a number starting with 0204549 but last two digits kept switching. I tried an app from the Play Store and it said the number was a spoof caller. Turns out the real origin is +91, which is in India. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
