My phone rang from a Yorkshire number with the Helmsley area code. I've never had any contacts there so I just let it ring out. No voicemail was left either, so I’m not sure what it was about.

They phoned me claiming there was an issue with my internet, but when I tried calling that number from a different phone, it just said the number wasn’t working. Bit fishy if you ask me.

I've received the same call not once, but twice today, claiming that an iPhone was ordered from Amazon. They prompted me to press 1 to proceed or 2 to cancel and secure a refund. Then, to top it off, a similar call came through on my landline with a different voice but the exact same message. This sort of fraudulent activity is worrying and really ought to be put to an end!
