This number has been ringing me loads lately but we've not picked up any of the calls.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from a cold call blocking company (bit of an irony there) who asked me to verify my name and phone number, which they obviously already had. Of course, the bloke spoke with an Indian accent. Then he asked for my card’s expiry date. I stopped entertaining it and said I couldn’t remember the expiry date. He said he’d wait while I checked, but I just ended the call. Weirdly, he correctly had the expiry date even though I refused to confirm it. It’s really frustrating how these scammers from India spoil the reputation for the rest of the country.

She asked if I was the person she wanted and if I owned the number. When I asked her who she was and why she needed to know, she got a bit annoyed.

I keep getting loads of calls daily from them, even though as soon as I ask if they're scammers, they just hang up on me. They say they're from some call blocking company - what a joke!

All this year they've been calling me every single morning. If I don’t recognise the number, I just let it go straight to voicemail, so I never actually pick up. When I do check, it’s just dead silence before they hang up almost right away.

I've received numerous calls from this number, claiming to be representatives of the Telephone Preference Service. They eventually pressed me for information regarding the account used for my phone bill payments via direct debit. Naturally, I declined to share any of my personal information.

I’m trying to sell call blocking devices but keep getting hassled with calls over and over, like nine times already. Told them to stop phoning me, but they just keep arguing. So frustrating!

Received a couple of calls from this number earlier today, but there was nothing but silence on the line before it abruptly cut off with a recorded "Goodbye." I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I got two calls today where no one spoke, just silence, then a woman’s voice came on saying "Goodbye" before hanging up. I've now blocked the number so hopefully it won’t happen again.

I got a call from them trying to block nuisance calls, they had my name right but the address was way off. As soon as I told them they had the wrong person, they just hung up on me.
