I've received countless calls from this number, but I've no clue who's on the other end.

Beware of this dubious caller! He seemed intent on swindling my banking details while pushing a so-called "emergency medical alarm pendant." Clearly, a scammer looking to exploit unsuspecting individuals. Stay vigilant!

Didn’t get any voicemail, pretty sure it’s just some sort of scam.

I was expecting a call about a query, so I picked up when it rang. There was a long pause before anyone said anything, which immediately made me suspicious. The person on the other end, who actually knew my name and spoke with an Indian accent, tried to chat, but I quickly told them I wasn’t interested. They hung up straight away. After seeing some of the feedback here, it’s clear it’s a scam. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I just ignored this call. Honestly, BT really shouldn’t be letting scammers use their numbers like this. There should be a law that makes them responsible for any losses people suffer because of these scams.

I got a call recently from someone who knew my full name right off the bat. Then they started going on about my "plumbing and pipework charges" or something like that - can't quite remember the exact phrasing but it was along those lines. I was totally confused since I haven’t dealt with anything like that, so I just hung up thinking it was a dodgy scam. This happened near Stafford on 27th July 2023.

02045414180 was a call from someone named Johnny Patel claiming to be from New Delhi Bank. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

I’m not sure exactly what to make of these calls, but they’re not just annoying - they’re actually quite risky, targeting people who might be easily fooled. It’s really frustrating. Anyone know how to put a stop to this? Such a nightmare!

So this guy Charles rings me up saying he can cut the cost of my boiler service. Honestly, what a bunch of rubbish. These scammers really need to find real work instead of bothering decent folk. I don’t mind having a natter with them for ages, but there’s no way I’m falling for their tricks.

I didnt pick up this call, my BT Call Guardian caught it first. Honestly, Who-Called.co.uk seems way better than the Call Preference Service. It’s crazy that BT can’t just block these dodgy numbers right away - makes you wonder if they’re making a tidy profit from selling the Call Guardian service instead.

Got a dodgy call claiming that all my plumbing and sewage charges were slashed. Yeah, right! I just ended the call straight away.

Had some muppet ring me up trying to get my bank info to push some rubbish. I just told him to jog on. This is like the sixth call in under two hours! Guess it’s just the stupid time of year. At least BT’s making a bit from all this, eh?

Blame the British Government and Sunak for all these annoying calls we keep getting, they keep allowing more and more folks into the UK every day, so dont be surprised if it gets worse.

Got a call from some scammer pushing a fall alarm I have no interest in. They even tried to get my bank info to "verify" who I was! Honestly, just ignore any calls coming from this number.

Got a call from someone saying ELLIE medical services this morning, hung up as soon as I asked for personal info. Obviously scammers trying it again. BT really need to block these numbers and stop these annoying calls.

I didn’t pick up, pretty sure it was a scam. I just let it ring off and later had a quick look on here to see what others said, and yeah, it definitely seemed dodgy.

Got a ring from this number and they were asking for someone who isn’t at this address. I told them they’d dialled the wrong number and then ended the call.

Just looked up a number here that I didn’t recognise, and it's likely another scam. This is the fourth one I've had today - I’m so fed up with these calls.

Got a call from some bloke overseas offering one of those emergency alarms you wear round your neck. When I asked what the call was about, he said it was aimed at folks over 60, no matter how healthy they are. I told him I wasn’t interested and didn’t need it, and then he just started shouting at me. Maybe he ought to use one of his gadgets himself to keep calm.

BEWARE! This is a risky scam where they try to get your bank info and personal stuff. Never, ever share anything with them or engage in any way, it's just trouble.

They start off by knowing your name and where you live, then they try to get your date of birth. (Never give that out!) They say they're offering a device to wear around your neck in case you fall or need assistance. AFTER THAT, they push for your bank info!!! Absolutely DO NOT share it.

Looks like a total rip-off to me.
