Someone called claiming to be from EE saying I needed to upgrade my SIM because it would stop working soon. I've never heard of anything like that happening, and I'm pretty sure EE wouldn't just ring me out of the blue like that. I told them I thought it was a scam and ended the call. I've since blocked the number.

Got a dodgy call where someone said they were from EE, trying to get me to upgrade my sim. I flipped it back and asked them to give me my account number first. They said they’d tell me that at the end of the call, which sounded fishy. I pushed them again to say it right away to prove they were legit, and they just cut me off straight away. Definitely a scam.
