When I told her I wasn’t, she said I didn’t qualify and kindly wrapped up the chat.

She insisted that my fibre glass loft insulation was now unsafe and said I qualified for a free survey. I told her my loft had actually been checked out only the week before and everything was fine. That seemed to unsettle her a bit because she kept going on about the database showing my loft wasn’t updated. In the end, she just gave up and hung up. That’s how I ended the call with her.

Around 4 in the afternoon on November 10th, I got a call from the '0204 538...' number - my second time getting a call from a number starting like that that day. The answering machine picked up and I didn’t leave any message. Feels like it was probably a scam or some dodgy phishing attempt.

I've just had yet another call from someone claiming to be 'the energy advisor', pushing a rather dubious loft insulation deal. They were banging on about how fibreglass insulation is perilous, inefficient, and apparently even against building regulations, saying it leads to condensation and property damage. To top it off, they mentioned some supposed special discount or grant that I could supposedly benefit from. This marks the fifth time this individual has rung me with the same nonsense. I've registered with the Telephone Preference Service and asked them multiple times to stop calling. They wouldn't divulge any company information before abruptly hanging up! Complete waste of time!
