I received a call supposedly from my local council regarding some work around my home, but I couldn't help but chuckle. The voice on the other end seemed rather peculiar, and honestly, it didn’t sound like they were from the UK at all! Just a rather odd encounter, if I’m honest.

Received a call claiming to be from a university conducting some sort of research. It took a bit of digging to uncover their company name, which turned out to be OMB. We informed them we weren’t interested, and while the caller was fairly courteous, it still felt like yet another annoying interruption.

I received a rather interesting survey call from a charity called Vegetarian for Life. They inquired about our care home’s perspectives on veganism and vegetarianism. I must say, their questions were quite straightforward and nothing felt too personal or off-putting. There’s a chance this could be a genuine initiative, wouldn’t you agree?

The individual on the other end of the line claimed they needed to pose some inquiries on behalf of my landlord. I felt rather dubious and chose not to engage with their questions. Quite rudely, they ended the call abruptly.
