Received a call purporting to be from Currys. I queried why they had my number since I certainly hadn’t given it to them. The guy mentioned some promotional offers, but he just talked over me without letting me get a word in. He had a pronounced accent, possibly Indian, and the background noise suggested he was in a chaotic call centre environment. Politely declined and ended the conversation.
