Got a call saying there was a problem with our account or cheque, so while they were talking I dropped in a Who Called Me search. I asked them to send the details by email, she then asked for our email address. I told her, if you’re calling me, surely you already have that info? She then said she had to do security checks and couldn’t share our email. Feels like a total scam to me.

Typically, I dodge these sorts of calls, especially as I don’t reside in London, nor do I have any ties to the city. On the fourth attempt, I decided to pick up. If you come across this number, do yourself a favour and block it. Just a heads up, it might seem a bit genuine since he claims to be recording the call for some reason, but trust me, it's nothing but a scam!
