Those financial con artists are becoming a real nuisance, aren’t they? Next time they ring, I reckon I’ll have a bit of fun and waste their time before I finally decline their offer. I’ve got a similar plan for those accident claim chaps-I'll spin them a wild tale, maybe even say I was in a right state when it happened or that I lost my head in the accident. It’s all just for a laugh, really!

I can't quite tell if I was on the receiving end of a dodgy sales call or something more sinister. A chap rang me up, claiming to represent a so-called Financial Trading Centre. He was pestering me to sign up for a three-month subscription, boasting that the first month would be free of charge. His pitch revolved around diving into trading and putting money into cryptocurrencies. Definitely raised a few alarm bells for me!

Received a rather unwelcome call at 8:00 this morning from someone claiming my router was on the brink of collapse! They proceeded to insist that I needed to take precautions for the future and even had the gall to say they were associated with Open Reach. Beware of these muppets! I firmly believe that if I haven’t initiated contact with you and I’ve got everything in my home and banking sorted, there's absolutely no reason to engage. The choice of whom to communicate with rests solely with me, and let me be clear-cold callers are off my list for good!

I've had a run-in with this persistent caller too-like a bad penny that just won't go away! Fingers crossed that my block actually holds up. They start off by mentioning their name and then veer into this whole trading spiel. Honestly, who in their right mind would entertain a random call from someone offering unsolicited advice about investments? It all reeks of a dodgy scam if you ask me. I'll stick to reaching out to my own brokerage, thanks ever so much!

I've received a missed call from +44 20 4538 7364, and since my phone is set to reject calls from numbers that aren't saved in my contacts, it went straight to voicemail. The caller left a message, addressing me by name and urging me to answer. So to you, mystery caller from +44 20 4538 7364: take a hike! 🖕

Inquired about my familiarity with trading, of all things! When I probed him on how he came across my name and number, he casually mentioned, “Oh, it’s from marketing - things have changed quite a bit, you know.” I feigned ignorance to keep the chat going. He rambled on about the importance of self-education, and when I mentioned that I always consult my husband before making any decisions, he abruptly ended the call! Absolutely hilarious! 😂

They rang me up saying I’d shown some interest in the stock market and now they wanted me to invest. Thing is, I hadn’t shown any interest at all.

The caller said his name was Mani, but you could tell it was a call centre right away - there was a delay before he picked up. Just as I was about to hang up, he started talking, with loads of noise and people chatting in the background. He claimed he wanted to discuss my supposed interest in financial trading. I told him I wasn’t interested at all and quickly ended the call, then blocked the number. Seems like a potential scam to me.

I had a rather dubious experience where someone attempted to rope me into trading, but I’ve got zero interest in that. The only trading I’ve dabbled in was quite briefly with Barclays, purely for testing purposes. Is it possible that they’ve somehow passed on my information?

Received a call about financial trading, which was rather odd considering I had just been sent an email expressing gratitude for registering, something I absolutely hadn’t done. When I told the chap I wasn’t keen on pursuing this, I asked him to take my information off their list. Strangely, he kept mumbling as if he were chatting to someone else and then abruptly ended the call.

Got some dodgy trader on the phone trying to get me to fork out cash for some ‘investment’ scheme, promising I'd earn interest. I decided to humour him for a good half hour - what else to do stuck at home on maternity leave in the middle of a lockdown, getting fed up. I joked that my salary was paid in peanuts and asked if he preferred them salted or roasted. Next thing, he’s swearing like mad, calling me all sorts for wasting his time. The laugh’s on him though - I ended up blocking his number! Felt like a proper win for me.

Got a call just before 9pm from a young bloke with a voice that gave off scam vibes (phone flagged as possible scam). He asked me what I thought about Financial trading right now. I told him there's no way I'd chat with someone ringing out of nowhere about Financial trading, especially when the call’s marked suspicious. Didn’t seem to care though, kept going like nothing. Told him to get a proper job and then ended the call. What a total muppet scammer!

I received a call from a young chap with a rather cheery tone just before 9 PM, and I couldn't help but notice the number was flagged as a possible scam. He started off by inquiring about my thoughts on financial trading at the present time. I made it clear that it’s quite unusual for me to engage with someone who calls unexpectedly and starts probing about financial matters, especially when the number comes up as dubious. Despite my disinterest, he continued to ramble on. I finally had enough and suggested he seek out something more worthwhile to do instead of bothering people like me. I hung up, utterly bemused by his persistence. What an absolute numpty!

Absolutely a dodgy financial trading call! He kicked things off with a "good evening", which I found a bit odd considering it was still only 3 in the afternoon.
