Got a call from this number claiming to be my bank about my credit card. They tried to trick me into handing over a one-time password. Honestly, just hang up - it’s definitely a scam!

I’d say just don’t pick up & block em, but the annoying thing is they ring back on a different number each time, usually switching up the last two digits. Pretty clear it’s a scam. It’s getting a bit much since I’m getting about half a dozen calls daily, and sometimes they use mobile numbers as well. I really don’t want to switch my mobile number but if this keeps up, I might not have a choice. It’s been going on for a couple of weeks now.

Based on what I've seen in the other comments, it seems like a scam. I just didn’t pick up and ended up blocking the number.

Got a call from 020 345 9295 claiming they were from 3. I told them I’m not a customer with 3. Then they switched and said it was my mobile network calling, so I asked which one. First they said Virgin, then changed to O2. I called them out on the lie, then ended the call and blocked the number. Pretty clear scam to me.

I'm in a bit of a quandary... It’s likely just another spam call. The number’s from London, but I reckon it's not genuine. I suspect it's been spoofed. I've gone ahead and blocked it after receiving seven missed calls from them.

Someone called saying they were from O2, but I’ve also heard others got calls from Vodafone, so it seems pretty dodgy to me.

Just got a call from someone saying they were from Vodafone, trying to push some kind of upgrade offer. Doesn't seem legit to me since i just did an upgrade not long ago, and their system should have all that info already. Felt a bit fishy overall.

This person said they were calling from 02, but I only use a pay as you go, so they can’t take any money from me since there’s no credit on my phone, lol. I told them it wasn’t my number and mentioned I had a different contact number, then they just ended the call.
