Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, telling me they’d send a free 5G upgrade SIM but then said I’d have to buy something else to make the 5G work. I wasn’t having any of it and just ended the call. Total scam, watch out!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone. Said they covered every network, not just Vodafone. I told him he sounded like a scammer. He denied it and I just hung up.

Someone ringing up saying they were from O2, trying to give me some upgrade deal or a discount on my plan. The caller was pretty cheeky and wouldn’t take no for an answer. Even when I nicely said I wasn’t up for it, he just chuckled and then cut the call. Proper rude, honestly.

Sounded pretty convincing, pretending to be from Vodafone, my phone company. They sent me texts with supposed "codes" and even had a bit of my personal info, like my address. I only got suspicious when they asked for my credit card info to send a "free" present! Vodafone already has my bank details... no way I’m giving that out.

The caller ID popped up as "Sandy's Mayfair." An Asian woman on the line claimed to represent EE, insisting she could help me cut down on my mobile expenses. Quite odd, as I'm already with EE! She had no clue what my name was, which raised my suspicions. I decided to end the conversation and promptly blocked the number.

Oops, I made a bit of a blunder with the spelling there! So, my phone has this contact listed as ‘Sandy’s Mayfair Skip Hire’. Quite amusing, isn’t it? Turns out it’s a real business, but surely it can’t be them trying to get in touch with me, as I’m situated miles and miles away from them. I have absolutely no connection to this place at all!

I received a call that I missed, and when I checked, it mentioned “Thank you for reaching out to ATLC.” Seems a bit suspect, to be honest.

It seems they're urging you to search for their business on Google and click on it, likely hoping to boost their visibility in search results. A cheeky idea would be to leave a one-star review to signal that they might have picked a less-than-savvy marketing agency!

I received a call from a chap who said he was representing EE. I let him ramble on for a little while, but when I pointed out that my phone displayed "Sandy’s Skip Hire," he stammered a bit and replied, "Um... I’ll need to consult my manager about that." At that point, I decided it was best to just hang up.
