Got a call from someone saying they were with EE, asking what phone I’m using and how much my bill is. I reckon if they really worked for EE, they’d have that info already. Just blocked them straight away!

This number just rang me up and some bloke pretended to be from O2, saying I could get a phone upgrade. I found it quite obvious it was a load of rubbish since I haven’t had O2 as my provider since 2012. Total scam, watch out!

Im getting fed up with all these scam calls making it thru. How come it’s so hard to put a stop to these people? You’d think it would be straightforward to find out which provider gave out the number and who exactly is behind it, especially if networks actually did proper security and credit checks. Also, loads of these calls seem to be coming from the indian subcontinent - so why do they get to be on UK numbers in the first place? It doesn’t make sense.

Answered the phone but they just went quiet and then ended the call quickly.

These folks keep ringing me up sayin “from Three promotions” but I've told them loads of times I’m not wit Three and to stop blowing up my phone. I block one number only for them to buzz me from another one!! Very annoying.

I picked up this London number cause I was waiting for a call from someone in that area. The guy on the line spoke really broken English and said he was from O2, but I don’t actually use them as my phone provider. So I just ended the call and made sure to block the number so it wouldn’t bother me again.

Got a call claiming to be from O2 saying I could get an upgrade. I was dead sure that wasn’t right - I’m not eligible at all. They sounded proper annoyed when I told them I wasn’t interested.
