I’ve put them on my blocked list, but they keep on calling anyway.

I got a call from Ethan saying I’d won a prize from Aldi or something. Felt a bit fishy if you ask me.

This number rings me a couple times every few months, I usually just ignore it. But once or twice I picked up and they were going on about me winning some sort of lottery.

They called me like 6 times in just 5 minutes! I ended up blocking the number, not sure if that'll stop them from trying again but guess I’ll find out.

I picked up the phone and they just ended the call straight away.

Just had a ring from 020 8068 2571 claiming I’d won some free lottery tickets because I supposedly entered a contest. I told them straight up I never entered anything, so they mentioned a travel site offering a Volvo as a prize. Told them again I’m not in any competition and wasn’t interested, then ended the call. Switched my phone off briefly just to be safe and cut any links. Total scam if you ask me. South Berkshire here.

I got a call saying I’d won the lottery, but I’ve never even bought a ticket. Then they started asking for my bank info - total scam!

Received a dodgy call claiming to be from the O2 Sales and Promotions team. Best to steer clear of these scammers!

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2 sales, kept pushing me towards their website. I wanted an email to verify, but despite the O2 logo, they didn’t provide any real details. The caller sounded really pushy and was rushing me, saying things like, 'Come on ma’am, are you after a deal or looking to get a new phone?' Felt like harassment honestly.

Received a call purporting to be from Vodafone, touting various promotions. The chap on the line had a rather strong Indian accent; it almost felt like he exaggerated it after his opening spiel, making it tough to decipher the rest of what he was saying. I rang Vodafone to verify, and lo and behold, that number isn’t associated with them at all.

So, I gave them a ring back since I'm over here in Australia but still using my UK SIM card. The voicemail I got mentioned something about 'Newt International', but let me tell you, it’s most certainly a dodgy setup. I checked the records, and it turns out that Newt International was dissolved way back in 2010 in the UK, as per Companies House. No doubt about it, this is a scam. Quite relieved to see that others have flagged this today as well!

I received a call from an unrecognized number that didn’t pick up. My phone indicates it's based in London. Interestingly, about an hour later, I got another call from a number that was similar, just with a slight variation at the end. I can only assume it’s the same lot trying to get in touch.

My phone hardly ever goes off, and when it does, it's always from numbers I'm familiar with. So, it’s safe to say that any calls I get that are unexpected are definitely unwanted.

I hung up on them, yet they insisted on ringing me repeatedly. When I finally picked up, it was utterly silent on the other end.

I received a rather unsolicited phone call from this number earlier today. An individual with an Indian accent introduced himself as a representative from Vodafone, attempting to entice me with what he termed a 'fantastic' deal for Black Friday. I politely declined and hung up. Not long after, I got a rather peculiar text from the same number, which was a so-called free Call Alert from O2, urging me to ring 901 - a big no from me. Within just a couple of minutes, I got another call, this time from a Manchester number, 0161 524 4259. Yet again, it was an Indian gentleman claiming to represent Vodafone. I didn’t hold back and told him to take a hike!
