I just said hi and they suddenly cut the call. Weird.

Beware, I got scammed! They managed to pinch my details from Tesco Mobile. If you get a call from this number, just ignore it and report it straight away to both your bank and phone company. They were even trying to withdraw money from my account!

Got a call from an unfamiliar number on my phone. The guy said his name was William, but I couldn't really catch anything else. I hung up, probably nicer than I should have been!

They insisted they were offering a half-price deal exclusively for mobile users. When they requested my email address, it dawned on me that it was a scam. So, I decided to have a bit of fun and gave them an [email protected]. It wasn't long before the operator caught on to my little prank!

I got a call the other day and a bloke on the line said he was from O2. As soon as I told him I wasn’t with O2 and that I wasn’t interested, he just ended the call. Honestly, these constant calls are driving me mad, it's the same thing every day!

I got a ring from this number earlier, but my phone showed a warning saying 'Possible Scam', so I ignored it. After checking the reviews here, it seems like it's just another dodgy scam call.

Got a call from a mobile number that looked like it was based in London. I didn’t pick up because it seemed a bit dodgy, so I just blocked it straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from “Tesco” offering a discount, but it felt totally dodgy. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with EE. They already knew I was paying 10 quid every month. Wanted me to tell them my name and birthday but I didn’t share any of it.

Not very believable. They were pretending to be O2, offering me half price on my bill.

Some bloke rang me claiming he was from Tesco Mobile, saying I could get half price for being a loyal customer. He wanted my name to send some info over. I told him if he’d already looked at my Tesco account, he’d have my name, right? So I asked him what it was and he couldn’t say. Then he just cut me off. A few days ago, a call came from a similar number and after a good 30 minutes of going back and forth, the person finally admitted it was a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, sounded like an Indian accent. They kept trying to give me a One Time Code again and again. They rang me after 6pm on the 12th of Jan, bit odd timing if you ask me. It was clear it was a scam, so I played along using info from a little script I had. The chat got really weird at one point, made me think these scammers must be hiring the lowest of the low. Pretty sure the same bloke called me again today.

I received a call purporting to be from O2, stating that I’d been fortunate enough to be chosen at random for a 50% discount on my monthly bill. They mentioned I would get two text messages shortly. I agreed to it but told them to ring me back after they sent the messages, then I hung up. So far, I've had no texts arrive...

Today, I got a rather dubious call where the person on the other end was going on about slashing costs by half. When I pressed him to verify that he was indeed representing O2, he abruptly ended the conversation. Since this is a business line, I can say with confidence that it’s a scam.
