I received a call from a woman with an Indian accent, but unfortunately, I couldn’t quite grasp what she was saying. It seemed to be a call centre, and the quality of the line was dreadful.

Got a scam call the other day and noticed they used a number really close to 02045388574. Since I don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t know, I always check this site first to see what others say about it. I’ve blocked the numbers now, but it’s so annoying how people can use U.K. area codes even though they might be calling from places like India. Wish there was a way to stop that happening.

The call was really bad - the Indian woman on the other end spoke so softly it was hard to catch what she was saying. It seemed like the typical scam about my mobile service. Honestly, I wonder if anyone actually gets tricked by this - but I guess some must, otherwise they wouldn't bother. I just told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call.

Absolutely, offering a 40% price cut and then requesting a £50 upfront payment is quite amusing! Haha!
