I got a call from a lady claiming she worked for O2 and could lower my bill by 30%. She didn’t really give me any info, and when she asked for my email, I just ended the call. They won’t seem to take me off their call list either. Pretty sure they’ve tried ringing me a couple times before this as well.

I just got a call saying O2 was giving me 20% off my monthly fees - yeah, right. Totally sounded like a scam to me. I told them to take me off their contact list and made sure they knew I wasn't falling for it.

I could tell right away it was dodgy just by the way they spoke. No legit company like O2 or Microsoft calls out of the blue like that. Best thing to do is just end the call and get on with things. Scammers are honestly the worst.

Never ever share your info with them!!! Somebody called claiming to be from O2 and tried to get into my Microsoft account but I’m not daft. That woman, whoever she was, can just jog on.
