Got really pushy and quite rude, honestly!

As soon as I answered and said hello, they just cut the call. Probably spam, or maybe even a scam.

So this bloke rings up saying he's from some telecom firm and wants to offer us phone lines. He asked for the business owner, and I pretended it was me just to play along. He was proper pushy, reading from some script, trying to get us to buy this phone line. Once I said we're not interested, he suddenly went all cold, just said "oh, alright then, never mind" and hung up straight away, no hello or goodbye. Just so you know, I work at a small finance company that's a limited business.

Got a call from some Indian bloke asking if I was the business owner about our phone lines. Told him I’d pass it to Rajesh in accounts but before I could, they just hung up on me. What a pointless call, just a waste of time all round!

I received a phone call from what seemed to be a bustling call centre, brimming with chatter and a host of voices, predominantly with Indian accents. The individual on the other end was inquiring whether they could speak to the owner of the business. I decided it was best to end the conversation there and simply hung up.
