The individual on the line asserted he was representing my life insurance provider, but he misidentified the company outright. When pressed, he couldn’t tell me how long I’ve been with them or even what my monthly premium is. He was rather vague about the duration of my policy too. When I mentioned that I would reach out to my insurer directly, he insisted that I needed to ring back on the number he provided. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

About a week and a half ago, I received a phone call from this number. An individual claiming to be called Leyton reached out, supposedly representing Sun Life Insurance. He went on and on, insisting that I ought to raise my insurance coverage.
Eventually, he managed to persuade me to make the changes. However, upon contacting Sun Life directly, they verified that his claims were completely untrue and that this call wasn't affiliated with their company at all.
Please exercise caution regarding this chap 'Leyton' and the number he provided: 02045364240. It's definitely a SCAM!

I let the call ring out and it went straight to my voicemail, but oddly enough, there was no message left. It just sat there buzzing for a bit, so I reckon it’s probably just a spam caller.
