I received a call from someone who said they were inquiring about my credit card. They insisted they were looking into exorbitant interest rates and mentioned that I could be entitled to a significant sum of money. To top it off, they promised to assist in settling any debts I had. It all felt rather dodgy to me.

Got a call from this number today, a guy claiming he was from some company looking into high credit card interest rates. He told me I was due a large sum and that any debts would be wiped clean. When I told him I wasn’t interested, he got pretty annoyed. I asked him to send the details by post, but he said they already had my email and seemed confused why I wouldn’t get it. He even used my first name and mentioned they’d been trying to reach me all week.

Some scammer called saying I supposedly owe £17,000 on a credit card. Was so pushy and rude, I just ended the call straight away.
