Some bloke rang me up claiming there were problems with my housing or something. I told him exactly what I thought about his so-called "issues". Total con artists, hope they get what they deserve.

The connection wasn’t great, but I’m pretty sure the person on the other end was English, just speaking with a South Asian accent. Since I’m signed up with TPS, the call didn’t last long before they gave up and ended it. After reading the other comments, it seems this is a scam call that’s been going around quite a bit. I’ll be reporting it to the ICO as well.

Never seen a number show up as "screen call" on my iPhone like that before, so that felt a bit dodgy. I don't know who it was and the call ended almost straight away, didn’t even get a chance to hear it ring. Pretty weird behaviour if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming they were dealing with my housing problems. Thing is, I don’t even have a place to live. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone saying it was about housing problems I supposedly reported - which I definitely didn’t! Then they just hung up on me. Looks like this is the latest trick going around, pretending to check on things like mould or damp. I’ve had a couple of calls like this recently.

My phone flagged the number as probable spam, so I didn’t pick up. They also didn’t leave a voicemail or anything. I’ll just block and remove it from my contacts.

Got a call from someone speaking with a foreign accent claiming to be from the council housing office, saying they were following up on housing issues I’d supposedly reported. Problem is, I’m a homeowner! So I told him he’d dialled the wrong number. No response, he just hung up straight away. Honestly, these lot are just casting about for any random person to snare with their scams, hoping to pinch identities and empty bank accounts. Proper desperate stuff.
