02045311565 Summary (Read all comments)
Phone number ☎️ 02045311565 👆 is reported as a likely scam involving callers pretending to be from a mobile network provider, often O2, claiming a SIM card upgrade is imminent and urging urgent activation. The callers use generic or incorrect information, do not verify account details properly, and pressure recipients to follow links that may compromise personal data. Many users advise terminating the call immediately and not sharing any information, as genuine providers would already know your account details and do not request activation links this way. Blocking the number and reporting it is recommended, as these interactions are commonly linked to attempts at gaining phone access or personal data theft. Users have successfully avoided contact by using call rejection settings for unknown numbers.

3 monthsGot a phone call from a woman saying she was calling on behalf of O2, telling me my SIM card had expired. She emailed me a link asking to log into my account, which seemed really dodgy. I just ended the call straight away. After that, my phone kept ringing loadsa times back to back but I didn’t pick up any of them.3 monthsMy phone rang and it showed up as a potential spam call, so I just let it ring out. Right after, I got a text saying it was some free call alert from O2 and telling me to call 901, then press * and option 5 twice to switch it off. I didn't fall for it and just threw the message away. Be careful, people - there's scammers going around!6 monthsGot a call from a bloke with a strong Asian accent claiming my SIM was no longer valid and that a new one was on its way in the post. He warned it’d be “switched off” by the next day. He didn’t ask for my name and got a bit shirty when I said I wasn’t the account holder, so I just cut it short. Felt dodgy to me - my actual provider would definitely know who they’re speaking to by my number. Best not to share any details with random cold callers like that.7 monthsGot a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from O2. He said my new SIM was supposedly on its way and I had to activate it right away. Then he told me he’d send a link so they could get into my phone remotely. I caught on straight away and asked him to explain the scam, and to my surprise, he actually admitted it! Had a bit of a laugh with him before he ended the call. If you fall for it, they’ll access your phone and steal all your info, passwords and whatnot. Definitely steer clear of this scam.
