I told him I was busy looking after my grandson and asked if he'd ring back later. If he dares call again, he’ll be getting an earful from me!

Some bloke with an accent I couldn't place rang my home phone earlier, claiming he'd found loads of problems on my computer and urged me to log in, saying hackers were after my details. I told him I hadn't touched my laptop in yonks since it's knackered, and when I asked him where he worked or how he knew any of this, he couldn't give me a proper answer. Once I called him out and said I reckoned it was a scam, he just hung up on me. Ha! Watch out everyone!!

I had pretty much the same thing happen. Some guy with a really rude voice called, saying there was an issue with my computer that he had to sort out.

At about 5 in the evening on 6th May 2015, some bloke with a foreign accent rang me up. He claimed he was calling on behalf of Microsoft about issues with my PC. When I told him I thought he was trying to con me, he started threatening to cut me off by messing with my server. Quite dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from this number earlier, some guy claiming to be Microsoft, telling me my PC had loads of errors. He sounded Asian and asked me to visit a website to check the error messages. After reading the comments here, looks like it's just another scam!

I wouldn’t pick up, it’s a total scam and the people on the other end can be really nasty.
