How cheeky!
They went and suggested there was something wrong with my computer!
I informed them I use a Mac, yet they still insisted on chatting with Cameron Diaz of all people! What a strange encounter!

I can relate! I mentioned I was looking after my grandson and requested him to ring me later. If he dares to call back, he'll be in for a tongue-lashing!

An unfamiliar gent with an Asian accent rang my home phone today, claiming he had pinpointed several problems with my computer. He insisted I log on immediately, warning me that hackers were after my identity. When I explained that I hadn’t touched my laptop in weeks due to it being out of action, and pressed him for details about his company and credentials, he couldn't provide any. Once I hinted that I suspected he might be a scam artist, he hung up in a hurry. Just a word of caution to everyone out there-stay vigilant!

I've had a rather comparable encounter to what others have described... a rather aggressive chap on the line insisting he was there to sort out some supposed issue with my computer.

At around 5 o'clock in the evening on the 6th of May, 2015, I received a call from a gentleman with a foreign accent. He claimed to be reaching out on behalf of Microsoft regarding some alleged issues with my computer. When I confronted him about his legitimacy, he went on to make threats about disconnecting my service through the server. It seemed rather dodgy, to say the least!

I received a call at my residence earlier today from someone claiming to be affiliated with Microsoft. He mentioned that my computer had accumulated thousands of errors. The chap had an Asian accent. He instructed me to visit a certain website to check for these supposed error warnings. Judging by the comments I've read here, it appears this was a complete ruse!

I picked up the phone, but there was nothing but silence on the other end.

Avoid responding to them. It's a total con. Quite aggressive, too.
