Got a call from someone claiming to be with O2, saying I could get a 40% cut on my bills for the next six months. When I said I wasn’t sure they were legit, they said they’d send a text code to my phone that would only be valid for 10 seconds. Felt fishy, so I ended the call and gave O2 a ring myself. Turns out it was definitely a scam - O2 told me they only ever call if you’ve arranged it first.
