Got a call from a lady with what sounded like an Asian accent, she said her name was "Amy" and was asking for me by name. She claimed to be from the warranty team for the washing machine at my place. When I asked which washing machine, she mentioned one from the "Hotpoint" brand. I replied I actually have an AEG, and she insisted that AEG was part of Hotpoint. I told her I thought AEG was a different company altogether and then she just hung up. Felt really suspicious, seems like maybe a scam attempt to me.
