Someone called me asking about the Covid vaccines and why I hadn’t got mine done yet. I got a feeling they were just trying to scam me.

In Norway, more than 70% of folks have gotten vaccinated, and they provide plenty of vaccines you can find around the world like Pfizer and Moderna. Even though they don't have the AZ vaccine, they still strongly suggest everyone gets vaccinated. So, if someone is sceptical about vaccines, using Norway as an example to back up their doubts isn't really fair, since the country supports vaccination.

Some bloke with a deep voice was nagging me to get the jab. I told him I’ve made my own choice because: 1. I already caught COVID, so I reckon I’ve got natural immunity that’s way more solid than what the vaccine promises - ask him when this vaccine was actually made and laugh off all that stuff about mutations; it’s all a bit unscientific if you ask me. 2. I’m not keen on injecting something that hasn’t even passed full stage 3 trials yet, and nobody really knows what it might do to you in the long run. I said to him, maybe give me a bell in 10 years time when proper, peer-reviewed research is out. 3. I don’t want to have anything in my bloodstream that’s linked to serious health problems or deaths - like how Norway banned AstraZeneca, for example. Even that official figure of 8 deaths per million is way too high for me. 4. Plus, all the vaccine suppliers have these legal loopholes that mean they won’t take any responsibility if you get ill or worse after having it. I told him to ring me back once that changes. 5. Honestly, with a bit of common sense and all the science out there, I could come up with loads more reasons to say no. There’s plenty to think about.
