I keep getting nuisance calls and odd voicemails that I didn’t ask for.

I received a phone call from someone inquiring about my Covid vaccinations, questioning why I hadn’t received the jab yet. I have a strong feeling that this was a scam attempt.

It's worth noting that more than 70% of the Norwegian population has received vaccinations, and the country provides a range of vaccines that are also accessible elsewhere, such as Pfizer and Moderna. While Norway doesn’t advocate for the AstraZeneca vaccine, it certainly promotes the importance of vaccination. Those who harbour doubts about vaccines shouldn't be using Norway as a reference point to support their stance, as the nation's approach doesn't align with their skepticism.

A bloke with a rather booming voice wants to persuade you to get your jabs. You might consider telling him you've opted out because: 1. You've already battled COVID and reckon that natural immunity offers you lasting protection, probably even more reliable than the vaccine; you could counter his claims about mutations by questioning the science behind them and inquiring just how old this vaccine is. 2. You'd rather not inject yourself with some formula that hasn’t cleared the third stage of trials. There’s little understanding of what the long-term ramifications might be. You might suggest he has a natter with you in a decade once there's a wealth of peer-reviewed research available that presents substantial findings. 3. You're not keen on having any substances in your bloodstream that are known to have harmful effects, potentially even leading to death. It might be worth reminding him that Norway has stopped the use of the AZ jab, and the official statistic of 8 fatalities per million doesn’t sit well with you at all. 4. You're a bit wary because all the suppliers have a legal disclaimer that absolves them of any responsibility for health issues or even fatalities. You could cheekily suggest he give you a shout when that little detail finally changes. 5. There are plenty of other logical reasons you could drum up using common sense and accessible scientific data on the matter - there’s certainly no shortage of it.

I received a call from a bloke with a rather deep and dull voice. He starts off with, "Is this... my first name?" To which I responded, "May I know who's on the line?" He then inquired, "Would it be feasible to arrange your vaccination?" I shot back, "I’m afraid that won't be happening."

I received a message instructing me to return their call, as they claimed it indicates that I've not received my vaccination. Curiously, I've already had it. Quite odd, isn't it?

They quizzed me about why I haven’t had the jab yet.
