Some woman rang claiming I’d won a competition I never even took part in! She told me I’d got lottery tickets and asked for my bank details, just in case I won any cash. I hung up straight away. It felt like they wanted to chat for ages to somehow get into my phone and online bank account, proper dodgy situation!

Got a call saying I’d been picked for some competition to win an electric bike and they’d sent me free lottery numbers for the Euromillions. Then they asked for my bank info to put any prizes in my account. I told them there’s no way I’m giving out bank details on the phone and they just ended the call. They also wanted me to select some lucky numbers, probably trying to trick me into giving info connected to my bank or something.

They called saying I’d won a prize even though I never signed up for any contest.

I got a call from a lady with an Indian accent claiming I’d won something on the EuroMillions. She then wanted my bank details, like sort code and account number, to set up a direct debit for £39, saying it would be paid back after. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

What a scammer! This dodgy character claimed I’d hit the jackpot with the EuroMillions, only to tell me later that it was merely some tickets for the draw. Absolute nonsense!

For a while now, a couple of different London numbers have been calling me every single day. Today I finally picked up and some bloke with an Indian accent started telling me I won a Euro lottery. Told him I never even took part, and he started just making up excuses. Ended the call quickly. Then, about 20 minutes later, the same number rang back again. Blocked them straight away again.
