It seems I've been targeted by a rather dubious individual posing as a Microsoft support representative. My computer has been persistently urging me not to power it down, warning of potential data loss and providing a number to supposedly contact Microsoft. Upon calling this number, I encountered a woman claiming to be Jenny Johnson. She mentioned that my IP address had been altered-something about cryptocurrency was thrown into the mix as well-and proceeded to attempt to coax me into accessing my bank account so she could 'investigate' the matter further. Quite the alarming experience, to say the least!
